At Mobi, we believe mobility is more than transportation — it’s what powers how people work, earn, and live every day.

The rise of the gig economy has transformed how individuals build their income streams. From delivery drivers and couriers to freelancers balancing multiple jobs, millions of people rely on flexible work to support their lives.

But behind every shift, route, and trip is a real story — and we want to hear them.

That’s why we created My Gig with Mobi.

Understanding the People Behind the Platform

“My Gig with Mobi” is a community initiative designed to spotlight the real experiences of gig workers who use Mobi as part of their daily routine.

We’re not just interested in what people do — we’re interested in how they do it, why they do it, and what their day actually looks like.

Gig work is often discussed in broad terms, but rarely understood in detail. This initiative is our way of changing that by gathering honest, first-hand insights directly from the people living it.

Who We’re Hearing From

We’re inviting gig workers who use Mobi to share their experiences, including those who:

  • Rely on flexible or short-term work to earn income
  • Work across multiple jobs or platforms
  • Use mobility as a key part of their workflow
  • Balance gig work with other responsibilities such as school, family, or full-time roles

Whether you drive, deliver, run errands, or combine multiple types of work — your experience matters.

What We’re Asking

The “My Gig with Mobi” form is designed to be simple and reflective. We’re looking to better understand:

  • What a typical workday looks like for you
  • How mobility fits into your schedule and earnings
  • The challenges you face while working on the move
  • What flexibility means in your life
  • And what keeps you motivated

This isn’t just data collection — it’s storytelling. Each response helps us better understand the realities of modern work.

Why This Matters

The gig economy is no longer a side segment of the workforce — it’s a defining part of it.

But with that growth comes complexity. No two gig workers have the same experience, and no single system fully captures that reality.

By collecting these stories, we aim to:

  • Better understand how mobility supports independent work
  • Identify friction points in everyday gig workflows
  • Highlight the diversity of gig worker experiences
  • And improve how platforms like Mobi can better serve real needs

Building a More Human Picture of Work

At its core, this initiative is about visibility.

We want to move beyond assumptions and statistics and toward real, human stories that reflect how people actually move through their day.

Every submission helps us build a clearer picture of the gig economy — not as a concept, but as a lived experience.

Get Involved

If you’re part of the gig economy and use Mobi, we’d love to hear from you.

Your story helps shape how we understand mobility, flexibility, and the future of work.
