All trips booked through Mobi include third-party liability coverage issued by TeqMobility, a licensed insurance provider that works exclusively with A-rated carriers. This coverage applies to both rideshare and personal-use reservations made through the Mobi platform.
The policy includes:
- Third-party liability coverage, meeting the minimum requirements under applicable state law
- Physical damage protection, which limits your financial responsibility if the vehicle is damaged or stolen during a booked trip
This coverage is only valid while the vehicle is booked on Mobi and being driven by an authorized guest. You may still be responsible for certain out-of-pocket expenses in the event of damage.
For all trips, guests are responsible for up to $250 per incident, including theft or physical damage, plus any associated recovery costs (such as towing, storage, or cleaning, if applicable). The insurance fee is automatically included in your booking and is non-refundable.
